L'Oreal Canada Mystery VoxBox Unboxing

So I got my first Influenster VoxBox in the mail! Here's a little unboxing! According to their Facebook page, I was one of 1000 people who received this box, what an honour!

As you can see, I got three little sample-size products. They're supposed to be from a L'Oreal Group brand, so it's not necessarily a L'Oreal haircare system; it could be a Garnier haircare system.

This is the product card that came with the box. It gives me instructions on what to do once I receive the box. I'll also be finding out the identity of the #mysterybrand in a week once I've used these samples!

According to the card, these products are supposed to reconstruct hair's strength by 90% from root to tip, it repairs hair & prevents further damage. How does it work? The mystery product contains damage-fighting Phyto-Keratin Complex and Cupuacu Butter.

Hmm... interesting...

The first product is a 50mL sample of Shampoo. The label says it's for: Distressed, damaged hair.

The second product is a Conditioner, also a 50mL sample with the same verbiage as the shampoo.

The final product is a Split-End Serum, the label says to: Apply to towel-dried hair daily to prevent split ends.

These products have quite a potent scent to them, I can't quite explain it. It smells like the regular Shampoo-y scents, perhaps a bit floral? The card says it contains Cupuacu Butter, perhaps that's what's adding a bit of fragrance? I don't know what that ingredient is supposed to smell like.

To be honest, I wish they provided an ingredient list, as someone with sensitivities may want to read the ingredients. I try to avoid sulphates and parabens in my shampoos and products in general but it's not a set-in-stone rule. Given that this is a L'Oreal Group product, I'm sure it has both those things in it. I'll still be trying this system and evaluating its performance.

My Guess: Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser System

I went through the Garnier USA website as they usually launch new products in the USA before Canada and I was able to find a haircare system that has the Cupuacu Butter and Phyto-Keratin complex.

Keep an eye out for my next blog post after I've had a chance to review it as well as the unboxing of the second box!

Disclaimer: I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
